Online report - insolation forecast
The annual insolation forecast contains
- insolation data of the panels which takes into account panels direction, shading and NASA satellite data
- Overall insolation rating, shadow avoidance rating, panels orientation rating.
Report - monthly data
The report contains comprehensive analyzes for each month of the year that contain
- Sun trajectory graphs with the outline of the horizon line

The hours of panels insolation for a given month taht takes into account shading, panel direction, NASA satellite data
Report - the best panels orientation
In the report, you'll also find the best panels direction for a given month
- best azimuth and elevation angle for PV panels (direct + diffuse solar radiation)

The best direction takes into account obstructions in the area and NASA satellite data.

- Perform an insolation measurement.

In the daily energy curves chart, click save all results button
The results of insolation measurement will be saved in the form of an online report. You will receive a link containing the report access code
ScanTheSun 2020 activation
The latest version of the ScanTheSun application requires activation.
- ScanTheSun can be activated in one smartphone by typing-in an activation code. Presently, the activation codes are available free of charge.

ScanTheSun can be activated in many smartphones by using a proximity activation card (NFC tag). Just touch the activation tag with a smartphone. Presently, contactless cards are available free of charge.

ScanTheSun 2020 remaining fixes and corrections
Updates for new Android ragulations and versions have been implemented. In some editions the Android systems changed the rules for using the GPS sensor (location measurement). The location masurements using the GPS sensor may not have been working on these Android releases with an older versions of the ScanTheSun application. The rules for using the device memory access have also been changed in some Android system releases. Saving the daily energy curves could not work in devices with some Android system releases. All issues have been fixed in the latest version of the ScanTheSun application:
